Free vs Pro
Settle the Card works great as a free local scorecard for Stroke, Match Play 1v1, or Scramble with your foursome. Pro turns on cloud rounds, every game mode, presses, Junk, saved groups, Round History, and bigger groups—when you’re ready.
What’s included on the free scorecard?
Stroke on a single device: individual net or 2v2 best ball. Match Play 1v1 (Nassau wager on 18-hole; presses off). Scramble 2v2 (four players). Up to four players. No cloud sharing. Other Match formats, Skins, Las Vegas, Group Best Ball, Sixes, Nines, Quota, Junk, Auto/Prompt presses, Side Action, Save/Load Group, ghost players, and Round History are Pro. On store builds, Free may show ads.
What does Pro add?
Fairway Sync — host a cloud round, follow a code, or play along from another phone. All Stroke and Match Play formats, plus Scramble 1v2 / 2v2 / 2v3 (and sync formats with cloud). Every other game mode — Skins, Las Vegas, Group Best Ball, Sixes, Nines, Quota — with full ledgers. Junk, Auto/Prompt presses, and Side Action. Save / Load Group, ghost players, Round History, larger rosters (5+ local; up to 20 in a shared cloud round), and ad-free on store builds.
How do I go back to Free?
Tap the unlock icon in the top bar, choose Switch to Free, and let the page reload. Add-on games and cloud sync turn off so the app matches the free limits again.
Why did my round leave cloud mode?
On Free, the app keeps you on a local card. If a saved round was on Host or Follow, opening it on Free disconnects cloud sync and settles you into Stroke, Match Play 1v1, or Scramble with presses off—same idea as choosing “Local only” in Fairway Sync.
